Paul Smith
bedtime–
under the covers
my son and I
enter Narnia
by torch light
I head off
to an old flame's
funeral...
it's hard to remember
when we finished and why
my latest poem
reveals too much
for comfort
I cover myself
by introducing 'her'
'the best of friends'
that's how you recall
those days
I stood quietly in line
as you called the shots
Paul Smith lives in the city of Worcester in the UK with his wife and children. Alongside poetry he has recently discovered a passion for longbow archery. His poems have been published in numerous print and online journals.
