HAIKU

Adelaide B. Shaw

house for sale —
dried leaves scatter
this way and that

  coffee on the porch—
in the heart of a lily
a yellow jacket

munching red grapes
this November morning—
a crunch in my step

  Sunday ramble
along a country road
wild turkeys

hospital room—
the lightness of falling snow
at dusk
