HAIKU

Laryalee Fraser

the sun's slant
through the skylight --
spring equinox

  ant hill...
all these words searching
for a voice

summer contrails --
the distance
to the rainbow

  the ruffled blade
of a backhoe...
cherry blossoms

pressed violets
in grandma's diary...
winter chill
