Hide and Seek

There's so much to do today and I'm tempted to hide under my pillow and stay another hour or two in bed. Four inches of snow fell overnight and it's only Wednesday and my day job waits.

minus twenty –
your soft skin
under the blankets

You can laugh all you want. But, this moment will disappear when one of the cats jumps up and tries to head butt his way to his morning meal. Mornings are like that.
