HAIKU

Patrick M. Pilarski

dead dog
stiff on the roadside;
first frost

  wrinkled face
through a car window;
autumn leaves

Chinese symphony---
dried blossoms
on the newspaper

  evening mist
trout linger
in quiet pools

cracked nuts
in a shallow bowl;
the ticking clock
