Max Verhart and Marlène Buitelaar share, among a lot of things, a big love of photography, haiku and haiga. They like experimenting with different kinds of photo haiga. Lately they have been making series of "stray objects" found in the countryside on their walking — and cycling tours.

Max Verhart is a longtime haiku poet and his haiku and essays have been published in many languages and magazines. Marlène Buitelaar is a novice in the field and has just started to publish some of her work.
