CarrieAnn Thunell
taking up the brush
my soul flies with the birds
time and hand
dissolve
into splashes of color
there are brief moments
when the window between
my teen son and I
opens a crack
for a waterfall of words
applause once covered
Keith Jarret like rain—
the CD
takes me back
too many decades
