Forgotten dream
  Sounds like blues.
An autumn leaf
         Falls down.		  
Забравен спомен
звучи като блус.
Пада есенен лист.		  
   
  jazz rhythm
all over town
the chestnut drums
  Джазиран ритъм
завладя града,
Кестенът е барабанист!
   
blue silence
notes dance at night
in waltz rhythm		  
Синя тишина,
Вечер нотите танцуват
в ритъма на валса.

  Джаз в галерията,
саксофонистът свири

Roots –
sad motherly songs
wait for me on the doorstep.		  
Корените
тъжни мамини песни

  Mozart's nights
the river falls asleep
with love in the air
  Моцартови нощи

Lilia Racheva Dencheva Lilia Racheva Dencheva was born in Rousse, Bulgaria. She studied at the St. Cyril and Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. She now works as a journalist, and has written for the centralmedia Septemvriiche, Srednoshkolsko zname, Sudentska tribuna, Narodna Mladej, and Az Buki. From 1992 to 1996 she worked as a reporter for the newspaper Utro. From 1997 to 2004 she worked for the magazine One Week in Rousse. At the end of 2004 she was hired as a redactor for the newspaper Forum. Her poems have appeared in Pristine Love (2001), Invasive Fires (2005), and in The Rose (European haiku, 2003).
