HAIKU

Peter Macrow

over the fence
nasturtiums
and the tortoiseshell cat

  waves -
poplar leaves whitening
before rain

garden frog
all this winter's night -
his 13-croak song

  full moon
in bed
I eat another chocolate

darkening river
a raven flies
towards the pines
