HAIKU

Susan Constable

pastel sky
how still the silhouette
of a heron

  day dreaming . . .
a spider drops out
of the spider plant

morning light
a cormorant dives
through its reflection

  early walk
counting the spots
on a fawn

kite festival
a maple leaf caught
in the cedar tree
