HAIKU

Fay Aoyagi

in the rhythm
of my lost summer
a Ferris wheel moves up

  apple blossoms
the highest bidder
for my wings

February rain
folded dragons
on the gymnasium floor

  fisherman's soup
mussels opened
like castanets

plum blossoms
squeezing color
out of the tube
