HAIKU

CarrieAnn Thunell

low tide–
naked bodies
wrapped in fog

  a fluorescent tube
wrapped in seaweed–
winter tide

after the rain
blooms everywhere–
croak after croak

  driving rain–
a tree frog plops
on my windshield

winter tides–
the silence
between waves
