a rooster song
slices the dawn |

the seaweed

a square of moonlight

Graham Nunn is a Brisbane based writer, current Director of the
Queensland Poetry Festival: spoken in one strange word
(http://www.queenslandpoetryfestival.net/)
and founding member of local performance group SpeedPoets
(www.speedpoets.zap.to/).
His haiku and haibun are published regularly in journals such as
paper wasp, bottle rockets, Yello Moon, Simply Haiku, Contemporary Haibun
Online, and The Heron's Nest. Awards include 1st Place in the 4th
annual Jack Stamm International Haiku Contest and 1st Place in the
Seed Pearls International Poetry Competition for Haibun and Renga
(written with Rowan Donovan).
Graham's first collection of haiku, A Zen Firecracker, was published in 2003,
and his latest collection of haiku and haibun, Measuring the Depth (Pardalote
Press, http://www.pardalote.com.au/) was released in 2005. Both titles
