Gillena Cox was born in 1950. A retiree, she writes as a hobby, and particularly enjoys the appreciation of things ordinary in haiku and its related forms. Her work has been published in numerous online zines (including past issues of Simply Haiku) and she hopes to publish a work of
her own soon. Nature photography is also on the list of her hobby priorities. She lives on the island of Trinidad, of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
