Editor's Note: I'm pleased to introduce Warren Gossett's haiga to the Simply Haiku readership. Warren is an accomplished professional artist. He has recently combined his talent as artist and his interest in haiku producing some very interesting and insightful haiga. He has work shopped both his haiku and haiga in the WHC and HaikuHut forums with immediate success. I trust we will see more of his work in the future, which in my mind, is a very good thing.

Warren Gossett ~

haiga

Warren Gossett I'm a semi-retired Idaho native, having spent most of my adult career in journalism as a newspaper editor, reporter, and photographer, and later as a digital graphic artist in the printing industry. Post polio syndrome has forced my retirement from the occupations I once had, but I am now a full-time artist, painting and selling my paintings through the internet and locally. I am very new to Japanese poetry but have developed a love for the poetry and a deep interest in making haiku and haiga - I have never been so interested in anything as I am in Japanese poetry.
