HAIKU

CarrieAnn Thunell

momma was a
summer landscape painter--
Montana still life

  owl moon . . .
in the deep forest,
my true self

awakened
by thunder-
this drip-coffee dawn

  wet leaves
stick to us-
their colors

between
raindrops-
the percolator
