HAIKU

Peggy Aylsworth

A tiger
rearranges
suburban streets

Morning sun -
Stripes
on the wall

Night folds day--
Ink drying
on a long letter

She waits
at the window---
A mourning dove

At 3 am
the mockingbird
wounding sleep
