Haiku ~ Helga Härle

frozen lake -
no reflections
but the sun

this way, that way
crossing path after path -
waters of spring

rush hour
in the paint shop -
spring is coming

the loudspeaker
up there in the tree -
a birdhouse!

view from birdhouse
intensely studied -
man on balcony

small frogs leap
in all directions -
where is the pond?

our shadows
on the sand
full of hollows

apricot shade
into light blue dawn -
moon of June

reed
in mist
a heron

autumn dusk -
yellow leaves
light the path

sunset
playing scales
and then the blues

deep autumn -
a bridge stretching
into the mist
