Haiku ~ Udo Wenzel

dark moon -
on the night train
back home
  the birch ...
  a new bridge
over the brook
jackhammer -
the little one hugs
her doll harder
  declining sun -
  the last rays stretch deeper
  into the woods
apple tree ...
its blossoms still
dripping with rain
