Haiku ~ Patrick Sweeney

sulphur baths . . .
a rice cake before
every yellow-toed Buddha
  trimmed bamboo
  does it fill up
in the cold rain
rice field scarecrow
the only one who dresses
Japanese
  Hazy moon:
  it's been six weeks
  since my last confession
misty rain . . .
aura 'round
a lump of goat dung
