Jason Sanford Brown is an engineer returning from a four year haiku hiatus during which his energies were directed toward achieving his degree in Optical Science and Engineering from the University of Arizona in Tucson. He now lives and works in Tucson with his wife and two sons.

He has been previously published in Frogpond, Modern Haiku, still, Heron's Nest, Tundra, Acorn, and others. At one time Jason edited the website "laughing mountain," and hopes to return to that endeavor soon.
