Haiku ~ Aurora Antonovic

starlit night
the scent of sandalwood
from your beard five o'clock shadow
  my face
  against yours
winter morning
hangs my breath
in the frosty air first snow
  wrapped inside
  our electric blanket
I stir the soup
as snowfall gathers
in the yard
