change of season--
storing the clothes
I never wore	the hush
	of folded wings--
	autumn twilight
from Puvirnituq
this black stone salmon has leapt
to me	summer evening--
	my shadow goes past
	the No Trespassing sign
assisted living--
she begins
to die

Ruth Holzer works as a translator.
