Tim Jamieson

famous ballplayer--
the small boy
rigid
  new hearing aid--
  the old fisherman listens
dead deer-- to the sea
this rifle
so heavy (now)
  light rain--
  the poet's face
forest clearing-- uplifted
the hunter looking down
at the crippled deer
