Hortensia Anderson is the author of numerous chapbooks
as well as a volume of poetry, TRUST (fly-by night press, 1995). Her
current passion is renga and other forms of collaborative poetry. She
lives precariously on dialysis on the lower east side of nyc.

a blue-green wave
sluices through stones
gust of wind --
a fallen cherry branch
splits the stream
|
the old baseball field --
a cluster of wild iris
at home plate
ripe avocados --
I carve the moon's phases
with a penknife
|
a stroll in the sand --
our pails brimming with
moonlight and fish |
