Janet Parker

Janet Parker was born and lived in New England until a few short years ago when she relocated to Florida. She is a recognized poet, having been published in many small journals, and is the winner of many poetry awards too numerous to mention in a brief biography. Her chapbooks are Forever Yours, Poems to Share, Poems to Remember, Trends I and II (a collection of formal poetry), Poetically Yours, Among The Leaves, and several others.

outgoing tide carrying
pebbles back to sea

cattails
a beacon above water
the sound of frogs

spring morning
dewdrops on a
spider's web

scent of August
a meadow of
wildflowers

footprints across the
frosted grass
chill in the air
