Paul
Conneally is originally from Sheffield but now lives in Loughborough UK with
his wife, Zoe, and their two children, Anna and Joseph. He has written and
experimented with haikai forms for some years, being published widely both
in English and in translation. He is Education and Regional Director of the
World Haiku Club and former Haibun editor of the World Haiku Review where
he now edits the Collaborative Poetry Section.
He continues to tour the UK extensively delivering poetry/art workshops and
readings. He especially enjoys working with children, from whom he has learnt
so much more than he could ever teach.The picture is of Paul biting into
a persimmon after delivering a short paper on Shiki and Wordsworth at London
University's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
